THE HOLDING PAGE: 11th MARCH 2012

My long absence from the underground music scene finally came to an end on the 25th anniversary of the release of the very first MMATT demo, on what would ultimately become the Music & Elsewhere label. I wanted desperately to get something online before we left Farm Court for our new life in Lancashire, and just made it with three months to spare! This is that very first 'holding page', filled with all the excuses for why it had taken me the best part of a decade to put it together...

RISE EDITION 2016: 2nd JULY - 24th OCTOBER

"FLASHBAX Ω ULTIMATE" COVER ART OPENS TRANSDIMENSIONAL PORTAL: MMATT'S OF TWO UNIVERSES UNITED! So screams the decidedly psychotronic headline, and that's where this edition starts, with a four page feature on exactly how that happened. With photos! Very convenient timing really, as the whole adventure had started about four weeks before the first Magic Moments At Twilight Time album in 10 years, an excellent 'best of the cassette underground years' release, courtesy of Klappstuhl Records, Germany. Small multiverse...

WINTER EDITION 2016-17:  1st DECEMBER - 30th MARCH

"DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE" MMATT 30TH CELEBRATIONS DON'T GO QUITE AS PLANNED! That was an understatement, I can tell you. There was everybody at our online 30th event, expecting me to be whisked off to a parallel universe to celebrate with the MMATT of that one, only it all went wrong, and this edition starts with a three page feature explaining why. There's also the first new MMATT tracks in 10 years, in the shape of "The Electric Age Cometh" and "Variations (On A Theme By Peppa Pig)". Now come on, would I really make up something like that?

SPRING EDITION 2017: APRIL - JUNE(ISH)

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF MUSIC & ELSEWHERE: The cover photo was of quite a pile of M&E cassettes laid out on our dining room table, and well worth the effort! The edition begins with an editorial doing what the headline says, followed by news of the forthcoming first volume of our M&E 25th Anniversary Collections. There's also a small article about Sati Varg's "The Second World Chronicles", that I apparently wrote while stranded in some bizarre parallel reality for months, while only hours passed in our own. Fact, they say, is much stranger than fiction...

UWU COLLECTION RELEASE EDITION: 13th OCTOBER 2017

THE UNITED WORLD UNDERGROUND COLLECTION IS HERE! And finally came the day! Following an editorial entitled "Happy 25th Birthday Music & Elsewhere", this edition includes full details of the new release; 'The Countdown' includes info on what would happen in the build up; 'The Release Weekend Event' offers a 5 page review of the same (including a link to the original Facebook event); and 'The Free Music Page' offers a wondrous opportunity to have a good listen through all the bands and artistes involved...

M&E COLLECTION ROLLING EDITION: 29th SEPTEMBER 2019

MUSIC & ELSEWHERE: A CELEBRATION! This edition had been rolling for the previous year, all building up to the release of the second and final of our M&E 25th Anniversary Collections. It didn't have any features of its own, rather links to other sections of the website, all accessible from it and the sidebar. It did, however, have a new editorial with each of its two updates;
11th March 2019 - on the forthcoming release and a note on the death of my father.

28th July 2019 - on a summer MMATT get-together and the new release event plans.
