the idea of having to produce a full 'album' in one go, is pretty old hat... get with it, granddad.

MM: And finally, what do you want to be when you grow up?

Wil: I'd like to be less prone to distrac--- ooh, look, a dog in a Santa outfit.

My sincere thanks to Wil for the natter. If I haven't yet managed to put you off wanting to know anything about this band, you may be interested to know that they have a channel on You Tube, which you will find at;

If you'd like to send Wil your opinions, whilst not wasting money on Postal Orders, you can contact him by Norfolk Duck-a-gram or the old-fashioned way...

NEXT UP ON THE MAGIC INTERVIEW;

THE CONSPIRACY!

"Ointment Makes Am-Ess" (M&E 297) in its less slightly nazi-looking packaging. So people didn't like it so much.

Wil: Oh yeah... I also won an edition of BBC Radio's "Genius" show, a few years back. For cost-cutting reasons, telly now prefers that comedians write their own material, so much of the stuff I do for filthy lucre these days ends up in more corporate or promotional productions.

Wil: What's with all this "The" stuff..?

MM: I find it’s a great way to start sentences.

Wil: Besides, I probably produce far more musical musings over a typical year, than during the 90s... but it's more spread-out and one-off, and done often for other projects than just Cheapo. Add to that, there's already a batch of new Cheapo songs on the way for 2013, which 'should' be produced with accompanying videos, so I foresee little reason why Cheapo shouldn't be at least as ignorably irrelevant, or dismissed out of handedly, as ever they were. Besides,

  You remember those annoying gaps I used to get in the old days when I did the M&E Newszines on cartridge paper? Look, it's happening again! How can you get page pixies on the internet? I suppose I could just witter a bit to fill the space up. Or draw a little spider in the corner. No, that would be childish. Oh, I've just thought of a really brilliant question I could ask Wil, that would be the BEST use of the space. Bugger, it's all gone now...

And that's what that brilliantly designed cover REALLY looks like when you unfold it!
