Well, what can I say, I was inspired. And very flattered. On May 8th, Jerry Kranitz, for many years editor of the excellent Aural Innovations magazine, was doing a 'Top 10 Album Challenge' on Facebook and posted this; "I'm restarting my 10 favorites that made an impact and I still revisit, but this time my 10 are albums I discovered in the early Aural Innovations years, starting in 1998. Day six: I reviewed this back in Aural Innovations #3 (1998) and to this day my opinion has not changed. It is still the best damn space rock 'n roll, dance party, sci fi concept album I've ever heard!!!" What more inspiration could one need to do put together that second edition of the album they'd been talking about doing for aeons? I realised that the 22nd anniversary of its release was coming up on May 20th and wondered if I could re-edit and convert the album, assemble a bonus album and do the same, get it all uploaded and then get the beginnings of a new edition of The Magic Net ready for the website in 11 days (I didn't see Jerry's post till the following day). Go for it! So here you have it, the original album is below, re-edited as standalone tracks, the interior art and credits are on the next page, photos and details of the full cast on the one after that, then finally, the bonus album and full download link on the four after that.
