"Strange looking creature, appears to be naked.

Odd structure on it’s face. And I really don’t want to know what THAT thing is."

06. Communication Union - CFX Jazz Piano

Thirty years ago, this Akron, Ohio, based band of brothers, Blaine and Jason Jones (I'm not sure which one appears on the album cover), were my absolute favourite electro-experimental band on M&E. Now, Blaine is back and the name of Communication Union is producing music again, and probably with better things ahead than luring aliens out of airlocks, but you've got to start somewhere. A very surprising set considering their past output, think you really have to listen for yourself. It begins again, looking forward to the journey ahead...

07. Odd Person - I Could Jump From This Bridge And No One Would Know I'm Gone

A second track from the Ingrown roster, this one from Odd Person, August Traeger, who Ryan tells us is from Portland, Oregon. The delightfully melancholy and quirky album is called "My Dismal Arcadia" (great title) and is apparently an audio diary. Let's hope he didn't jump, coz that would mean this would be his last album. But if he did, at least WE would know he's gone...

08. Charles Rice Goff III - Complexibles From Inflexibles

A new album from the Preesall Town Council Space Program's NASA liaison, CRG3 for short, this track being drawn from "Opposing Thumbs", a recent release on Chris Phinney's Harsh Reality Music, all produced from unrehearsed improvisational sessions, which is annoying, coz it sounds better than some of the things I've worked on for weeks! Life, eh? A veteran of the golden age of cassette culture and seasoned experimentalist (remember the Taped Rugs label?), former host of The Deprogramming Centre radioshow and ran with the Herd Of The Ether Space; CRG3 is one of those legendary types whose endless catalogue is so worth exploring. Strangely, no Bandcamp of his own, but there's a vast collection on the Internet Archive...

09. Shaun Robert & Gerardo Colin - Псилоцибин

Hand on heart, pretty promise, this will be the last track I play from the brilliant "Sounds In Space" compilation. To be honest, there can't be many tracks left that I haven't already had on the show anyway, such a good collection. Thought I'd finish with the boss himself, Shaun Robert, in collaboration with the gaffer of Mexico's Otcrah Records, Gerardo Colin. And you wait till you find out how they've been employing our engineering robot in the aeroponics lab, that'll be an interesting mushroom risotto...

10. Ursula's Cartridges - Childhood Memories

To the last of the three tracks from Ingrown Records, this one coming from the album "Invitation To The Ice Queen's Prom" (that's a cool title too, no pun intended). Urusla's Cartridges are from Jyväskylä (no, me neither) in Finland and Ryan describes this album as progressing from a warm jazzy party to a glacial ambient electronoscape, though I might have made the last word up. Had to be this track though, it's just SO psyche evaluation...

11. Magic Bullet - Shan't Jagger

Join the crew in some nice relaxing post psyche evaluation meditation, which, by some strange coincidence, is taken from the album "Obscuritas", which just happens to be on Gerardo Colin's Otcrah Records label. Like I said, small universe...

The REAL Dr. Magic (Dr. Albert Michael Tron Ps.D.)

The well known time and space travelling scientist from the planet Gamma Syndrome, one of my several counterparts from parallel realities. In fact, the very one who told me back in 2018 about the existence of Skit and the Magic Bullet project that was still more than a year in the future at that point. And who could ever forget The Magic Net headline that brought the real Doc and myself together for the first time in 2016;

Miss Shona Moments

Huge thanks to Shona, oh verily, the original vocalist with Magic Moments At Twilight Time from 1986-89, plus of course Mrs. Magic number two, and here we are getting hitched back in April 1986 just in case you STILL think I make all this stuff up! In a parallel dimension, she continues to travel through time and space with Dr. Magic in the Ford Escortron. In ours, she very wisely divorced me and has put 37 years and 250 miles between us. Yes, I know...
